Description

Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Denver, Colorado. This position involves providing critical care to pediatric patients in a dedicated cardiac Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The role offers the opportunity to work with a highly experienced team utilizing advanced equipment and technology to care for complex congenital and cardiac conditions.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Position: 1 RN
  • Start Date: 07/20/2026
  • Location: 1719 19th Ave, Denver, CO 80218
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS; candidates must have at least 2 years of cardiac critical care experience and be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with peritoneal dialysis, CRRT skills, and ECMO bedside experience highly preferred.
  • Additional Information: The PICU is a 10-bed unit specializing in postoperative care, inotropic and vasopressor infusions, chest tube management, and moderate sedation. The team averages 10 years of nursing experience with a focus on evidence-based practice and safety. Staff works closely with board-certified pediatric and congenital heart intensivists, utilizing advanced equipment like the centrimag, prismax, and arctic sun. The unit operates as the ECMO Center of the hospital, serving neonatal and cardiac patients with ample support resources available during shifts.
