Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized neonatal care to a diverse patient population, including stable feeder growers through critical level 3 patients. The position is suitable for RNs with NICU level 3 experience and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, 40-bed unit with a focus on high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Indiana RN licensure; Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 2 years' NICU level 3 experience; experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a level 3 NICU setting.
• Float: Float rotation may be required; candidates must be flexible to assist in other units as needed.
• Additional Information: The position requires attachment of current license and certifications with submission. Travelers must be located more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted. The unit has 40 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3.
