Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Manchester, Connecticut. This urgent care role involves night shifts focused on providing high-quality emergency nursing care. The candidate will handle a fast-paced environment and are expected to adapt to transitioning electronic medical records systems. Prior travel experience and proficiency in emergency nursing are essential for success in this position.

Job Details

  • Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) per week, minimum of 36 hours
  • Required Qualifications: 2+ years experience as an Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse, previous travel experience, Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Stroke certification, current experience with Meditech electronic health record system, and upcoming transition to EPIC electronic health record system in June 2026
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The RN will participate in providing emergent patient care, adhering to hospital protocols, and maintaining compliance with clinical and operational standards. The candidate should be adaptable to workflow changes and possess excellent clinical judgment.
