Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit (PACU AMBULATORY) at a healthcare facility located in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves assessing, monitoring, and providing advanced nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in an ambulatory setting. The role requires applying professional nursing standards to ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the recovery process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact RN licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is preferred. Professional certification related to perioperative or anesthesia nursing is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for continuous assessment of patient vital signs, administering medications as ordered, and providing patient education regarding post-procedure care. The role involves close collaboration with anesthesia providers and surgical teams to facilitate smooth patient recovery outcomes.
