Job Summary:
A labor and delivery registered nurse (RN) is needed at a healthcare facility located in Frisco, Colorado. The role involves providing care to patients for low-risk pregnancies at an acute care setting. The position requires working day shifts, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week. The nurse will be involved in managing deliveries, postpartum care, and working with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting August 3, 2026.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE Certification; minimum of 2 years labor and delivery experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience following AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios; familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling is permitted; candidates are expected to work 3 full weekends in a 6-week period and 3 on-call shifts within the same timeframe.
• Responsibilities: Managing low-risk labor and delivery cases, including C-sections in a dedicated OB suite, monitoring fetal strips using Phillips OBIX systems, and providing postpartum care.
• Additional Information: The unit features 8 LDRP beds, 1 triage bed, and is equipped with CPAP and vent support for neonatal patients. Charge nurses take assignments; there are OB technicians on each shift. In-house neonatology and anesthesia are available as needed. Orientation comprises 2 shifts, and a 4-shift cancellation policy applies during the assignment.
