Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy surgical environment, supporting procedures with a focus on neuro/spine and orthopedic trauma cases. The position offers a dynamic work setting within a Level II Trauma Center progressing toward Level I status, emphasizing teamwork and clinical excellence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 0 years of experience, and certifications as specified by the unit guidelines.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro/spine and orthopedic trauma procedures, knowledge of robotic surgery, and familiarity with the Meditech documentation system.
- Additional Information: The role involves supporting high-volume surgical procedures, working within a team-oriented culture. The department has dedicated in-house teams for nights and weekends, with specific call responsibilities including one night per week and one weekend every four weeks. There is no floating requirement for this assignment.
