Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position is located in BAY CITY, Michigan. This role involves collaborating closely with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans that promote optimal health outcomes. The nurse will provide bedside nursing care, execute medical orders, and oversee nursing assistants and support staff. This position emphasizes leadership, effective communication, and coordination to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2+ years of ICU experience, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS certifications, valid state licenses for Michigan.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro surgical experience, open heart experience, documented TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN certifications, travel experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be comfortable with floating to emergency department and step-down units. The role requires leadership in patient care, delegation, communication, and educational activities within the clinical setting.
