Description

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves working in a Med Surg/telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on adult patient populations. The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, floating to other equivalent units as needed, and adhering to established clinical protocols to ensure quality care delivery.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights shift, 36 hours per week, with three 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend work is required.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years experience in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU, EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) and charting experience, at least 1 year of travel nursing experience, 1 year of level 1 adult trauma hospital experience or equivalent within the last 5 years, experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6, and familiarity with adult populations including Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Neurology.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a trauma designated hospital setting or similar.
Additional Information: The RN will be assigned to the vacancy that best fits their experience, with the expectation of floating to other units as needed. The unit serves adult patients across medicine, surgical, cardiac, and neurological specialties.
