Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse position in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within an interventional radiology department, assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires a strong foundation in radiology procedures and patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area of interventional radiology or related specialty preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to radiology nursing or interventional procedures is also advantageous.
• Additional Information: The role involves direct patient care activities within the interventional radiology department, including pre-procedure preparation, assisting with imaging-guided procedures, post-procedure monitoring, and patient education. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, utilizing clinical judgment and adhering to organizational policies and safety protocols.
