Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse position in a busy urban healthcare facility located in Frisco, Colorado. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 3 Trauma Center, treating an average of 150 patients per day. The nurse will operate primarily during night shifts, supporting a dynamic team within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Frisco, Colorado

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, TNCC; 2 years of ER experience; valid license to submit
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have ER nursing experience; preferred skills include familiarity with standard ER medications and common diagnoses such as trauma, stroke, chest pain, and infectious conditions
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes specify fluctuating patient volumes averaging 150 patients daily
  • Support staff roles include charge nurses, nurse aides, EMTs, paramedics, and patient sitters
  • RT is available 24/7 for ABG, breathing treatments, and EKGs
  • Telemetry monitors are reader-interpretive; no monitor techs are on site
  • Phlebotomy and point-of-care labs are performed by trained RNs or phlebotomists
  • Floating within ER zones (region/zone's ERs) may be required; regional float rotation is expected
  • Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
  • Custom orientation: 2-3 days prior to start date
  • Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts cancellation for 13-week assignments
  • Charting system in use: EPIC
