Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/26/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Current state license; 1-2 years recent acute experience in emergency nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, proficiency in emergency care protocols.
• Unit Information: Facility has a 170-bed capacity, Trauma Level not specified; responsible for a mix of adult and geriatric patients.
• Position Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for patients throughout the shift.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency and life-threatening situations.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including IV medications, blood products, and chemotherapy as ordered.
  • Maintain infection control and safety policies to ensure a secure environment.
  • Receive and follow up on physician orders, evaluating patient outcomes.
• Float Requirements: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing critical care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting, requiring strong assessment and collaborative skills.
