Job Summary:
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) position in Holyoke, Massachusetts. This role involves providing behavioral health nursing care across adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations within a facility that specializes in mental health services. The RN will work primarily during night shifts, with responsibilities aligned to the needs of a multi-unit psychiatric care setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Holyoke, Massachusetts
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, 1 year of experience, Associates degree, willing to work with both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Specialty: Psychiatric Unit
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 11 P.M. to 7 A.M.
• Additional Notes:
  • Unit details include a total of 104 beds across five units (adult, child, geriatrics)
  • Patient ratios are approximately 1:8, with lower ratios for geriatrics and pediatrics
  • Must be comfortable on a unit managing common diagnoses such as schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety
  • Dress code: Scrubs (blue)
  • No call requirements, no equipment necessary
  • Shift supervisors are direct contacts for on-site support
