Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves providing specialized obstetric care in a busy Labor and Delivery Department, supporting expectant mothers through childbirth, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) through AHA (American Heart Association). Two years of experience in labor and delivery or related obstetric specialty.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level III trauma center; familiarity with electronic health records systems.
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for adult patient population, managing labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal stages, and supporting families through childbirth. The facility is a community-focused hospital with a diverse patient base.
