Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) nursing in Charleston, South Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a Med Surg unit, with a focus on safety, bedside reporting, and teamwork. The role requires working nights, every other weekend, and holidays on a rotating schedule to support hospital operations.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NIH Stroke Scale certification (can be obtained here), 0 years of experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Telemetry or Medical Surgical unit preferred.
Float: Float to like units may be required as needs dictate.
Additional Information: Traveler shall follow facility policy and work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff. Must perform hourly safety rounds and bedside shift reports with patients. The facility has a team nursing approach with available techs and a supportive management environment that emphasizes teamwork and work-life balance.
