Job Summary
Step Down Nurse in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. This position involves providing specialized care to patients transitioning from acute care settings, ensuring smooth recovery and stabilization. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, knowledge of Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips, and at least 0 years of clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac knowledge and experience working in a step-down or telemetry unit.
• Additional Information: No pass zone for bed alarms, call lights, and IV alarms; data documentation including telemetry application and rhythm strips; unit duties involve managing chest tubes, wound vacs, and performing EKGs ad lib. Staff will partake in bedside and hourly rounding, maintaining adherence to unit policies and documentation guidelines.
