Job Summary:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse position in Brighton, Colorado, involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with established practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role includes assessing patient health status, planning and implementing nursing care, delivering health education and counseling, providing supportive therapy and treatment, and executing delegated medical functions. Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing; BLS recognition from the American Heart Association; ACLS certification; NIH certification; 0 years minimum experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; TNCC certification
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves high-quality patient assessments, health teaching, health counseling, therapy, and treatment; delegation, supervision, documentation, and resource utilization are essential components of the position. The nurse may be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts and may float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications depending on operational needs.
