Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in an acute care facility with a patient census of approximately 120 visits per day. The position requires working day shifts, 12 hours per day, with a start date of August 10, 2026, and offers opportunities for first-time travelers with emergency department experience.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours, 36 hours per week minimum
  • Required Qualifications: CA state license (pending accepted), ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications, minimum of 2 years of hospital experience with grossing experience as a hard stop, CA license in hand or pending, valid SSN, DOB, and RTO documentation, willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays, at least level II trauma experience if applicable, and specific charting experience with Epic.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience in trauma Level II or higher, community hospital experience, and experience with interpreting dysrhythmias.
  • Additional Information: The nurse may need to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. References covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) are required. Travel compliance involves submitting SSN, DOB, and RTO information at time of submission. Travelers must be willing to work on holidays and support interdisciplinary services, including IV teams, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
