Description
Job Summary:
Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse position is available in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized cardiac care in a 12-bed cardiovascular intensive care environment. The nurse will deliver high-quality patient care, supporting overflow patients from medical intensive care and addressing various cardiac diagnoses, with scheduled rotating shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift with hours totaling 12 per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), at least 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience in a level II trauma center, and current employment history with any Johns Hopkins facility must be noted if applicable.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have prior experience in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Previous employment with Johns Hopkins facilities must be documented and verified before an offer. Candidates who have previously worked at Johns Hopkins systems as staff, PRN, or travel employees should have been away for at least one full year before applying as a traveler.
