Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) registered nurse position located in Rochester, New York. This role involves providing compassionate patient care in a high-volume, complex care unit within a tertiary care hospital. The ideal candidate will be skilled in telemetry monitoring and managing patients with a variety of diagnoses, including ortho, long-term care, and complex medical conditions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4x12 hour shifts, rotating days and nights, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York state nursing license in hand, at least 1 year of experience in a similar setting, proficient in charting with EPIC, and certified in BLS and NIHSS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a high-volume, complex care unit, familiarity with MS/Tele, rapid response teams, and advanced cardiac monitoring.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position requires ability to handle patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 in a MedSurg/Tele environment, with skills including pacemaker management, blood product administration, ventilator support, wound care, and use of advanced equipment such as HFNC and tracheostomy management. Candidates must have NY license in hand, be outside a 75-mile radius, and have prior charge nurse experience.
