Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position available in Brighton, Colorado. The role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with the standards defined by the state Board of Nursing. The position requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating neonatal patient care, providing health education and counseling, and executing therapeutic and supportive treatments. The nurse may be asked to float to other departments within scope of competency and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, a minimum of 0 years of experience in nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing, certifications as appropriate for neonatal care, previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Additional Information: The role involves health assessment, health teaching, counseling, therapy and treatment planning, consulting, delegation, supervision, and detailed documentation as per hospital and regulatory requirements. Candidates should be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily and demonstrate the ability to adapt to different departmental needs as assigned.
