Job Summary:
Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) position in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves providing patient care within a Medical Surgical (MS) unit that requires a minimum of two years of RN experience in Med Surg, telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend worked. The RN will be expected to float to other equivalent units as needed, accommodating varied patient populations such as Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Neurology.

Job Details:

• Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg, telemetry, or PCU
  • EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) documentation experience
  • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
  • 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years
  • Experience with patient ratios of approximately 1:4-6
• Populations: Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, Neurology
• Additional Information:
  • Expected to float to other equivalent units as needed
  • Ratios typically 1:5-6
  • Unit assignments will be aligned with the candidates experience and background
