Description

Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) care at a healthcare facility in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Acute Care/Med-Surg unit, utilizing their expertise to coordinate and implement patient care plans. The role includes night shifts in a dynamic environment influenced by orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses.

Job Details:

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Shift: 12-hour night shifts including weekend rotation
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Start Date: 08/04/2026
Required Qualifications: Current RN license to work in Colorado; BLS issued by the American Heart Association; ACLS issued by the American Heart Association; minimum of 3 years of RN Med-Surg experience; Flu vaccination (mandatory from October 1st through April 1st).
Additional Information: The RN will be required to participate in the call rotation and may need to take one call shift per two-week period. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, or Telemetry RN experience.
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period (following VV's pay schedule) in place of guaranteed hours that week.
Travel and Licensing Notes: Travelers permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. Agencies should ensure all licensing information is accurate in Medefis.
