Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse located in Fullerton, California. This position involves providing specialized cardiac care within a busy acute care hospital setting. The role requires utilizing advanced skills in cardiac diagnostics and interventions, supporting various complex procedures, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California registered nurse license or compact license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, two (2) years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, proficiency in End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Ionic Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty, Arrhythmia Induction, Central Line management, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Stent Placement, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures, Interventional Cardiac Catheterizations, Pacemaker Insertion/removal, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) is highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be on call on two nights per week and one weekend every two weeks, totaling seven days per two weeks, with the possibility to accommodate scheduled requests for time off. RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at submission; no additional time off will be considered post-application. The unit supports interdisciplinary care with interpretation services and pharmacy. Daily census and patient volume are dynamic and depend on patient needs.
