Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a busy medical center. This seasonal travel assignment involves working in a neonatal ICU with a focus on providing specialized care to newborns. The role requires a highly skilled RN comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a team dedicated to family-centered care and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas licensure, at least 1-year current acute care NICU hospital experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Level IV NICU experience, prior Meditech electronic health record experience, experience working in large teaching facilities
• Unit Information: NICU Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, approximately 84 beds, staffed with charge charge nurses, RN, unit secretaries, respiratory therapists, with patient ratios of 2:1 for NICU and 3:1 for Nursery/Special Care Nursery; equipped with Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager devices, Philips and GE ECG monitors
• Position Details: This is a seasonal travel role starting on 08/10/2026, with a focus on team collaboration, excellent communication skills, and a supportive approach to family-centered care. The position involves typical procedures such as IV placement, whole-body cooling, surgical cases including NEC, PDA, CVC, and high-frequency ventilation.
