Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare organization located in Wichita, Kansas. This seasonal travel assignment involves working night shifts in a well-equipped NICU unit, supporting a team of professionals in delivering exceptional neonatal patient care.

Job Details:

Position Title: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 09/07/2026
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly
Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas licensure; minimum 1 year current acute care NICU hospital experience; BLS (Basic Life Support); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Preferred Qualifications: Level IV NICU experience; prior Meditech EMR experience; experience at large teaching facilities; traveling to large teaching facilities
Additional Information: This assignment offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment including Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, and Philips or GE ECG systems. The NICU features 84 beds and is staffed by a team of 160 healthcare professionals, including charge CNC nurses, RNs, unit secretaries, and respiratory therapists. Procedures routinely performed include IV placement, whole body cooling, NEC and PDA surgeries, high-frequency ventilation, and chest tube insertion. The unit emphasizes family-centered care and developmentally supportive practices.
