Job Summary

Interventional Cardiology (CCL) RN and Scrub Technician (RRT or RCIS) are needed for a contract position at a medical center located in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This opportunity involves supporting interventional cardiology procedures within a dedicated cath lab unit. The candidate will participate in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, nephrostomy tubes, stress testing, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). The role offers a weekly guarantee of 36 hours with a schedule of 12-hour shifts.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week

• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and either a Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification; minimal of 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures; experience in vascular embolization, ports, vasc stenting, nephrostomy tubes, and stress testing; working knowledge of GE fluoroscopy equipment; ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with manifold, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR), intraparenchymal lithotripsy (IVL), Impella devices, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP); previous experience in a cath lab setting
• Additional Information: Candidates will be expected to cover all cath lab procedures, stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and tilt testing. The facility utilizes the CERNER electronic health record system. This role may require occasional on-call duties related to interventional cases. The position is open to candidates located at least 60 miles or greater from the facility.
