Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves providing specialized care on a medical/telemetry unit, supporting patient needs with a focus on cardiac monitoring and related procedures. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital telemetry experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification and Meditech electronic medical record experience.
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6, staffing includes 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians on day shift.
• Unit Information: The telemetry unit has 29 beds, with equipment including PCA pumps and IV pumps. The facility utilizes the Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Responsibilities include managing medication drips, central lines, and patient monitoring.
• The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong critical thinking skills, independence, and patient care experience.
