Description
Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Torrance, CA. This position involves supporting the labor and delivery department within an acute care hospital. The RN will provide care to neonatal, adolescent, infant, and adult patients, with a focus on high-risk obstetric and postpartum care. The role requires flexibility to work night shifts and float between units as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California RN license in hand, minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced certification, BLS, NRP, and valid certifications required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum and neonatal care, ability to support high-risk labor patients, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to mother/baby units.
- Additional Information: Must be flexible working weekends, support precepting roles, and adapt to a variety of clinical settings, including high-acuity obstetric and neonatal care. Candidates should demonstrate strong caregiving skills and ability to support complex deliveries and postpartum care.
