Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Department position is located in Santa Monica, California. This role involves providing specialized care in a busy obstetric unit focused on high-risk pregnancies and delivery. The facility handles approximately 200 deliveries per month, with a team dedicated to maternal and neonatal health, utilizing advanced monitoring and surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid California state license, minimum of 2 years of obstetric nursing experience, certifications including AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, and or AHA certifications. Experience assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating for C-sections, and managing high-risk antepartum and labor & delivery cases.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with high-risk pregnancies, sterile vaginal exams, and OR suite procedures during C-sections.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be capable of working in an operating room during C-sections, assist with postpartum and neonatal care, and float to postpartum as needed. RTO requests must be included at submission; candidates are expected to work three of the five specified holidays. This role is within a facility with interdisciplinary support services, privacy considerations due to celebrity patient care, and a focus on high-risk maternal-fetal health.
