Job Summary:
A Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse is sought in Brooklyn, New York. This position involves providing specialized recovery care to patients following anesthesia procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment. Shift Hours: 9.5 hours per shift
Minimum Hours Per Week: 38 hours
Start Date: 08/04/2026
Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in post-anesthesia care or critical care settings.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Post Anesthesia Nursing (for example, CPAN) and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients post-anesthesia, administering medications as prescribed, and collaborating with perioperative teams to ensure seamless patient recovery. The work environment demands adherence to facility protocols and safety standards.
