Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse in Boston, Massachusetts. This position involves providing care on an oncology floor with a focus on hematology and oncology patients. The role includes managing patient authorization, responding to patient inquiries, medication renewals, and administrative tasks. Candidates must have experience in hematology care and coordinating patient care, with heavy triage responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8/12 shifts, 40 hours per week, starting 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Massachusetts (MA) nursing license required and must be in hand at the time of submission, at least 2 years of nursing experience, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, hematology/oncology experience, heavy triage experience, chemo and immunotherapy certification required for oncology RN, prior experience working with hematology care and patient coordination.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: Must have recent separation from any facility for at least one year and not have worked as a traveler within the last year in the same or any organization. No local travelers will be accepted (residing within 50 miles of the facility is not eligible). Interviewers will be in New Mexico. Candidates should provide available dates and times for interview at the time of application. Parking in the area can be expensive, with options for public transportation.
