Description
Job Summary:
The position is for a Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse Coordinator/Navigator at a healthcare facility in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized patient care in an oncology clinic setting, focusing on coordinating treatment and navigating patient pathways within a busy solid tumor unit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (American Heart Association). Education requirements include a valid Massachusetts nursing license. Oncology experience is required. Chemo biotherapy certification is highly preferred. Candidate must be proficient with Electronic Medical Records (Epic EMR).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient management is advantageous.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Must have been separated from other healthcare organizations for at least 6 months and be in good standing (permanent, per diem, or contract status).
