Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in Richlands, Virginia. This position involves working in the operating room of a healthcare facility, assisting surgical teams in a variety of procedures. The role requires collaboration, technical proficiency, and attention to patient safety during surgical interventions.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift
• Schedule: Shift Hours: 8, Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Surgical Scrub Tech Certification, at least 2 years operating room scrub experience, Virginia state licensure (if applicable)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with general, orthopedic, cesarean, gynecological, ENT, pediatric dental, and urological surgeries; vascular case experience (Fem-pop, arteriovenous fistula)
• Unit Information:
  • Location: 1st Floor / Operating Room
  • Facility Department/Cost Center: Operating Room/701
  • Number of Beds: 5 Operating Rooms
  • Patient Ratios: One patient at a time
  • Equipment: Bovie, laparoscopic towers, Hana table, Urology table, Laser litho, Harmonic scalpel, stirrups
  • EHR System: Meditech Magic
  • Supervisor: Rhonda Sample, Director of Surgical Services
  • Patient Population: Mostly adult and geriatric, with some pediatrics (tonsils and dental restorations)
• Call Requirements: 1-2 weekends per month, 1-2 weekdays per week
