Description

Job Summary:
Medical Laboratory Technologist (Labor and Delivery Department) in Burlington, Vermont. This assignment involves providing high-level care and support in the labor and delivery unit for a duration of 13 to 16 weeks. The role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and experience working in large academic healthcare settings.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, and experience include at least 2 years of relevant experience in high-risk labor and delivery, Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 12 months, and a background in large academic healthcare settings. Applicants should be flexible with schedule, available for assignment from 08/10/2026, and able to commit to the specified duration.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, advanced certifications in labor and delivery, and familiarity with large hospital operations are preferred.
  • Additional Information: This is a high-risk labor and delivery assignment requiring the professional to be available every weekend, with bi-weekly orientations on Mondays. All work history details (such as bed count, electronic medical records, and facility type) must be fully completed for submission. Reliable personal or rental transportation with all-season or snow tires from November through April is strongly recommended.
  • Travel: No travel is required for this position.
  • Float: Float rotation is not required for this assignment.
