Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Lubbock, Texas. This position involves providing acute emergency care across various units within the healthcare facility. The role requires adaptability to float between units and adherence to established protocols in a Level II Trauma Center setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Texas or Compact State License; Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); at least 2 years of emergency room experience; experience with charting system Epic.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, Level I Trauma Center experience, LTAC experience, trauma level I experience.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required between units.
  • Additional Information: Must have 2 years of ER experience as a hardstop requirement. Candidates will be expected to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays and must request all RTO and scheduling arrangements upfront during submission. Candidates with prior employment at a similar facility or travel experience should include those details. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required.
