Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Neurology Floor Nurse in Wisconsin This position involves providing care to neurology patients on a busy medical surgical unit. The nurse will utilize the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and follow all standards of care to deliver high-quality patient care. The role requires current Wisconsin license, NIHSS certification, CPR/BLS, and verification of education. Candidates should be experienced in acute care settings and prepared to work 12-hour day shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days (6:30A-7P), 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Wisconsin license, NIHSS certification, CPR/BLS, verification of education, and 0 or more years of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neurology or medical-surgical units preferred
- Float: Travel RN may be required to float to other units as needed
- Additional Information: This position requires working every other weekend and holiday. The role involves administering prescribed medications, documenting according to standards, developing patient care plans, and participating in performance improvement activities.
