Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Rockford, Illinois. This role involves circulating for orthopedic, neurological, and podiatry procedures in a busy healthcare facility. The position requires strong clinical skills, particularly in neuro/neuro/spinal and orthopedic surgeries, with work scheduled during daytime hours. The successful candidate will work four 10-hour shifts per week with rotational call duties that include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: AHA Certifications; Basic life support (BLS); Valid Illinois nursing license; 0 years experience (additional experience preferred but not required)
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong skill set in orthopedic, neuro, and podiatry surgeries; Experience circulating in the operating room; Ability to handle rotational call responsibilities
- Additional Information: Must have a strong skill set, especially in ortho/neuro/podiatry; No local candidates within a 50 mile radius; No RQI certification accepted; Must adhere to facility fixed notes regarding staffing and procedures
