Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse opportunity in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients within a busy facility. The NICU nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary team, contributing expert clinical knowledge and skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Specialty, Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Wisconsin state license, Driver's License, and a work history/resume. Skills checklist must have been completed within 12 months of submission. Copy of required certifications required. References - one supervisory reference required at the time of submission.
- Additional Information:
- Call back and on-call multiplier details as specified.
- Orientation schedule begins in June 2026.
- Travel contract requires at least one previous travel assignment completed and a minimum of two years of experience in neonatal care.
- Experience with epinephrine, norepinephrine, dopamine required.
- Candidate must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, except for specific local considerations.
- EMR experience with EPIC system.
