Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position available in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized care to newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit, supporting the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. The position offers a night shift schedule with a focus on clinical excellence and patient safety.
Job Details:
- Shift Time: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Education Requirements: Valid state license in Wisconsin
- Experience: At least 2 years of previous experience in neonatal or intensive care nursing required; minimum experience of 0 years specified for the role
- Travel Contract Requirements: At least one travel contract completed, work history/resume required, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, and a supervisory reference at the time of submission
- Additional Qualifications: Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, except in Madison where local candidates with a 10% rate reduction are accepted
- Work Environment: Ability to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
- Other Details: Call back and on-call multipliers apply, along with specified orientation schedule
