Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) Nurse is based in the Burlington, Massachusetts area. This high-acuity unit specializes in providing advanced monitoring and care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries or experiencing severe cardiac or respiratory conditions. The position involves rotating shifts, with a focus on delivering exceptional critical care in a specialized environment.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights)
- Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years specifically in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), Level 1 trauma experience, proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system, travel experience, ACLS and BLS certifications required, no local candidates, and ability to wear any color scrubs.
- Additional Information: Weekly orientation provided. The candidate must have been separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be considered eligible.
