Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse Belleville, Illinois. This position involves providing specialized telemetered patient care within an acute care setting. The role requires clinical expertise in high-risk telemetry and the ability to manage complex cardiac patients during night shifts. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment supporting cardiac and postoperative care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). At least 2 years of clinical experience in telemetry or high-risk cardiac units.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac drip management, sheath pulls, central line management, and post-op open-heart care.
- Float: Float within scope to multiple units, with competencies to practice at all inpatient units including high-acuity cardiac areas.
- Additional Information: The position involves managing cardiac drips without titration, sheath removals, and care of patients with tracheostomies. High-risk telemetry experience is essential. Orientation includes 24 hours, and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced. License requirements vary by state; Illinois license in hand at submission is preferred. No local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted unless they meet the specified criteria.
