A Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Floor care is needed for a facility located in Iowa City, Iowa. This position involves providing patient-focused nursing care in a fast-paced oncology unit, supporting patients requiring acute oncology care, post-operative surgical care, and symptom management. Job Details
- Shift Hours: Days, 12 hours per shift
- Schedule: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, no chemo certification required, minimum of 0 years of experience, located in the United States
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in oncology or medical-surgical units is beneficial
- Float: Float rotation is not required
- Additional Information: The unit is a 44-bed adult medical-surgical oncology unit specializing in complex cancer care, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and post-op care for various surgical procedures such as thyroidectomies, gastrectomies, adrenalectomies, and more.
