Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in Walnut Creek, California. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient experience and nursing excellence. The candidate must have strong ER experience, recent ER travel experience, and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating E/N shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 08/11/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid California licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), NIH Stroke Scale certification, at least 2 years of recent ER experience, travel experience, and demonstrated EPIC electronic medical records experience. Superior references are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), 3-5 years of ER experience, some trauma and pediatrics experience.
• Additional Information: The emergency department encounters a daily census of 190-200 patients with rapid patient turnover. Nurses need critical thinking skills and the ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Patients are generally well-educated and vocal about care standards. EPIC experience is mandatory and must be documented within work history.
