Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position is located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This role involves floating between various MedSurg units and providing specialized patient care. The nurse will work in a dynamic environment, including working in emergency department and post-anesthesia care unit borders, supporting deceased patient coordination as needed, and covering multiple units depending on staffing needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license (proof of state residency required); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; a minimum of 2 years of recent, equivalent clinical experience in medical surgical nursing; experience in chest tubes, tubes, drips (such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone), post-surgical lines/tubes/drains, tracheostomies/laryngectomies, telemetry monitoring, complex wound care, and central line care and maintenance including blood draws.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous float experience highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The MedSurg Staffing Resource Team (SRT) will float between all Medical Surgical units as needed. Travelers may work in different units, including East, West, Emergency Department, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar role.
