Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Northampton, Massachusetts. This position involves providing family-centered care for antepartum, labor, birth (vaginal and Cesarean-section), postpartum, and gynecological patients. The nurse interacts effectively with adult patients on an interdisciplinary level, adapting communication to individual needs. The role requires flexibility with shift hours, including nights, and may involve variable weekly hours.

Job Details:

Schedule: (3) 12-hour shifts, 7 p.m. 7 a.m., every other weekend. May consider 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN). No minimum years of experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Labor and Delivery department is advantageous.
Additional Information: The position requires a commitment to family-centered patient care, with clinical responsibilities related to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological conditions. The candidate should be able to interact appropriately across age groups and interdisciplinary teams.
