Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Brighton, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical procedures in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as providing health education and counseling. The nurse will execute delegated medical functions, refer patients as needed, monitor therapy and treatment plans, document clinical activities, and utilize resources effectively. This position may require float duties within scope of competency and being on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/31/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required, Bachelor's preferred); BLS certification from the American Heart Association; and ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting; certification relevant to the unit or service.
• Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential nursing duties satisfactorily, with relevant skills including nursing care, health data assessment, health teaching and counseling, therapy and treatment planning, medical functions execution, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, documentation, and resource utilization.
