Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The position requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as providing health education, counseling, and therapy to support patient well-being. The ER nurse will execute delegated medical functions, review treatment plans, and document in compliance with regulatory guidelines. The assignment may require floating to other departments within the scope of competency and qualifications, and on-call duties may be needed during scheduled shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS - American Heart Association.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; TNCC, PALS, ACLS certifications; 1-2 years of emergency department nursing experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be able to perform essential nursing duties independently and supportively, including assessment, care planning, and documentation. Flexibility regarding floating within department and on-call status may be required.
