Description

Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality patient care tailored to individuals with complex medical needs. The position requires adaptability to various clinical settings within the facility, along with the ability to work nights and handle a wide range of clinical responsibilities.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of ICU, telemetry, or med-surg experience; BLS and NIHSS certifications; experience in MS/Tele, telemetry, cardiac monitoring, emergency response, endocrine/metabolic protocols, IV therapy, phlebotomy, respiratory management, wound care, and specialized procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing dysrhythmias, rapid response teams, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, neurological, orthopedic, plastics, and respiratory cases.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within scope to meet facility needs.
  • Additional Information:
    • On rare occasions, patient to nurse ratios may flex to 1:6.
    • No holiday shifts or on-call requirements.
    • Open to accommodating block schedules; home address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
    • Pending license accepted; RTO requests are limited to one, with a maximum of 7 days.
    • Candidates must meet all compliance requirements prior to start date, including documentation and training modules.
