Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Specialty position is located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing advanced cardiac diagnostic and interventional care within a busy hospital environment. The position offers an exciting opportunity for qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) with specialized catheterization laboratory experience to contribute to lifesaving procedures and patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 1 year current hospital acute care experience specifically in the Cath Lab setting; relevant certifications and appropriate licensure; located within the Denver, Colorado area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Electrophysiology experience, coronary and peripheral angiogram/intervention experience, familiarity with Meditech and MacLab electronic medical record systems, experience with device implants.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab, performing procedures such as coronary and peripheral angiograms, interventions, and device implants. The team typically consists of three members on call, with a call burden of 8-10 days per month. The lab operates without an IR component and currently does not have a structural heart program. The staff is experienced, and the unit values flexibility and a collaborative personality.
