Psychiatric Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Enid, Oklahoma. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a psychiatric setting. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license, 2 years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience, CPR certification (CPI, BLS), and at least 1 year of travel healthcare experience. Must reside within 100 miles of the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting with adult and geriatric patients.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position requires thorough assessment including biological, psychological, physical, and cultural needs, with an emphasis on patient safety and education. The nurse will perform body system assessments, recognize and report abnormal test results, and serve as a patient advocate. Responsibilities include implementing individual care plans, participating in team meetings, and assisting with post-hospital care planning. The role may involve oversight of direct reports, participation in unit problem-solving, and serving as a resource for new staff and students. Proper documentation, clinical skill demonstration, and effective time management are essential.
