Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves providing patient care in a level 2 trauma emergency department during night shifts. The assignment is scheduled to begin on August 24, 2026, for a duration of approximately nine weeks with orientations every other week. Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Virginia or Compact Nurse License; 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar-sized ED with trauma level 2 or 1; ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required; Trauma Certification (ATCN, TNCC, or ATLS) required; Cerner experience highly preferred; All certified RTO must be included in the application packet.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Nurse License, minimum 3 years ED experience, current certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC), trauma certification, Cerner EMR experience preferred, and VA or Compact RN license.
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are set for August 10 and August 24. The position is for a 9-week assignment starting on 09/22 and 10/06, with the possibility of cancellation up to 36 hours prior to each shift due to census. Active VA or Compact license must be maintained at the time of submission.

• Float: Float rotation may be required is not applicable.
